Odisha Kutumba Pension Scheme has been started by the Odisha government to provide financial assistance every month to the families of freedom fighters. Under Odisha Kutumba Pension Yojana, those people who participated in the freedom movement and supported Mahatma Gandhi in liberating India at the time of independence will be identified and monthly pension will be provided to their families by the Odisha government. Which will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary families through DBT. Only those people of the state will get the benefit of this scheme whose ancestors played an important role in the independence of India.

Objective of Odisha Kutumba Pension Scheme

The main objective of the Kutumba Pension Scheme launched by the Odisha government is to provide pension to the families of the freedom fighters of the state. So that their legacy can always be remembered and they can be given security and respect. There was a demand for Odisha Kutumba Pension Yojana 2024 in the state of Odisha for the last several years, but due to some reason the previous governments could not implement this pension scheme. But the government of the current Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, has decided to implement the new pension scheme so that financial assistance can be given to the families of freedom fighters and more benefits can be provided to their families.

He is also entitled to it. Odisha Kutumba Pension Scheme has been announced to be started by the state government on the occasion of Revolution Day on 9 August 2024, which will be implemented soon. So that soon the social and economic condition of the families of the freedom fighters of the state can be improved by giving monthly pension. So that they will get financial security and respect. Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Kutumba Pension Yojana

• The applicant for Odisha Kutumba Pension Yojana should be a native of Odisha state.
• The families of freedom fighters of the state will be eligible for this scheme.
• Families with annual income less than a certain amount will get the benefit of this scheme. (This limit will be decided by the government itself)
• The applicant family should have a bank account which is linked to Aadhar card and mobile number.
• DBT service should be enabled in the bank account.
