Features of Odisha Subhadra Yojana 

• In Odisha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pledged to implement its highly successful known as Subhadra Yojana.
• Under this yojana, it will give each woman a cash voucher worth Rs 50,000 if it comes into power.
• The manifesto pledges to guarantee the procurement of paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal, generate 3.5 lakh employment in five years, provide women a cash voucher worth Rs 50,000, and reimburse investors who lost money on chit fund businesses.
• The primary goal of the Odisha Subhadra Scheme is to improve women’s standing in the community and provide them with financial independence so they can take care of themselves.
• With this move, the BJP hopes to break through to the female voter base and undermine the BJD’s main advantage.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Subhadra Yojana 

• Applicant must belong to Odisha state.
• Only married women would be eligible.
• Also, each family will only have one beneficiary.
• This benefit is only available to married women; single women are not eligible.
• The woman should be between the ages of 23 and 59.
• There should be no government employment for women.
• The advantage of this strategy will be extended to one woman from one family.
• Benefits under this system will be extended to Anganwadi workers.
